Course Description

Your Writing Probably Sucks.

Writing is part of being an entrepreneur, whether you like it or not. Blog posts, social media updates, emails to clients, marketing materials, business plans…the list goes on.

But if writing is something you’ve never put a lot of time into, what ends up on the page will never be as brilliant as you want it to be.

When it comes to getting new clients via your marketing and social media efforts, first impressions count. So do second and third impressions.

Your bland, stilted, grammatically-incorrect writing isn’t doing you any favours – but what can you do about it? You sure as hell don’t have the time to enrol in a college English course! Even the online courses you’ve seen are too in-depth, too time consuming. You just need to learn the principles that apply specifically to your situation – everything else is a waste of time.

Well, wouldn’t you know it? The Entrepreneur’s Writing Crash Course (EWCC) is exactly what you need!

What’s the Course All About?

  • The EWCC contains 5 downloadable modules, released over 5 weeks
  • It is designed specifically for entrepreneurs (hence the title!), and the information only relates to what you need to know to write better blog posts, social media updates, Facebook ads and marketing materials
  • Topics include the basics of spelling and grammar, how to get your pacing right, how to use conversational tone, common traps and how to avoid them, and how to edit your own work
  • Each module contains practical tasks to help implement what you’ve learned
  • The final module contains a final test, which will help you to put in place everything you’ve learned in the entire course
  • You have the option to get feedback on your final test from a professional writer (numbers limited – see below for further information)

Each module is designed to be short and easy to digest, so you can fit it into your busy schedule. And best of all, the course is completely FREE!

Why? Because we’re committed to coaxing the creativity out of all entrepreneurs. Creativity lives inside us all – it’s only a matter of nurturing it. Our mission, as always, is to help you reach your full potential as a creative entrepreneur.

The Feedback:

Each module of the course has its own practical exercise at the end so you can implement what you’ve learned. The final module contains a longer test to help you implement the ENTIRE course.

For this final test we are offering, for the first 100 enrolments only, the chance to have your work read by a professional writer, Jenna Cosgrove, who will send feedback and tips for how you can improve even more. Instructions on how to apply for this feedback will be in the final module of the course.

What You’ll Get Out of the Course:

  • A better understanding of the mistakes you’re currently making, and how to fix them
  • The elements that make up compelling writing and how to harness them
  • How to not look like an idiot when you put your writing out into the world
  • Feedback from a professional writer on your final test, for the first 100 enrolments only
